Did you ever lie awake at night and wonder—given all the stuff that ran through your mind every day—how you would ever get to heaven? I surely did!
In my early life, up through young-adulthood, I didn’t know God’s will for my life. Though I knew about Jesus—learned about Him as a very young child in Sunday School—I didn’t comprehend what He had done for me.
Perhaps you find yourself in that same predicament today. And there are few things as troubling as wondering how you are going to make it to heaven … and much more concerning, how you are going to escape hell.
Well, this month on the Basic Gospel Radio Program, we attack that issue with the truth of the New Covenant. Knowing without question or doubt where you will be after this life on earth is over is the greatest of blessings.
It reminds me of the old Alka-Seltzer commercials — Plop, Plop, Fizz, Fizz. Oh, what a relief it is!
Ryan Williams, manager of the Williams family-owned Waco, Texas, radio stations, KBBW-AM and FM, has just alerted me that on this Monday, April 10, a new KBBW affiliate at 101.3 FM will begin broadcasting in the Temple/Killeen, Texas, market areas, including the massive Fort Hood military base.
KBBW-AM began carrying our program as People to People on June 3, 1985, and with Nels Wilson‘s KBGN, Boise, Idaho, is one of the two remaining original affiliates.
The Williams family has been steadfast friends through the years and we are delighted to see the family of stations growing.
Thank you to the Williams for making Basic Gospel a part for their broadcast day, now on three stations.
If you have family members or friends in that area, please pass along the information that Basic Gospel will be on the air, live, beginning Monday, April 10, at 3:00 P.M. on the new FM 101.3 for Temple/Killeen/Ft. Hood in Texas.
In keeping with our main topic this month comes this question from Marcus in Fort Worth, Texas.
Someone else who has discovered God’s will for his life is Ryan, from Lacombe, Alberta.
1 Corinthians 3:14-15 and what to expect in heaven. That’s the question from Charles.
This question from Greg.
Which are we? That’s the question from Ken, Savannah, GA.
Thanks for checking out this weekend’s edition of Inside the Studio!
Wishing you all a blessed weekend.
