V-A-C-A-TION … in the summer-time! Remember that old song by Connie Francis? Of course you don’t! I’m showing my age, now.

This past week at Basic Gospel has been a bit different from the usual. Both Bob Christopher and I have been on vacation. Normally, we try to schedule vacations NOT to coincide with each other. However, this year, that did not work out.

The good part of that is that on Monday and Tuesday, we had the opportunity to replay our special broadcast editions on The New Covenant.

As you probably know, new covenant teaching has been the hallmark of this ministry forever … maybe longer (as I am fond of saying). There is no message in existence that carries more importance than The New Covenant. Nothing carries more gravity than the issue of your eternal future — where we will spend eternity.

“Spending eternity.”

That is a term I usually don’t use. When something is “spent”, it is over. Finished. Consumed. However, eternity can be neither spent nor consumed — it has no end! It is forever present.

Thank about that. Where do you want to be … eternally? I am planning to be with Jesus! I hope you are, too.

That is the bottom line of the New Covenant — eternity in His presence. But in the meantime, through the perfect sacrifice of Himself and His bodily resurrection from the dead, He is able to give to us a full and abundant life here and now, while we await His glorious appearing (Titus 2:11-15).

Remember this, too: It is by grace that we are saved through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).

That’s what these two sessions on The New Covenant are all about. I encourage you to join Bob Christopher, Richard Peifer, and me to hear the full story of the new covenant and its meaning for us.

The Genesis 3D Movie

Long-time friends – Big-time production

Florida residents Ralph and Rachael Strean are long-time friends of this ministry. For many months their team has been immersed in the creation and production of a new, 3D rendering of the Book of Genesis.

The producers say, “Genesis 3D is a film based on the first book of the Bible, featuring stunning 3D visual effects accompanied with expert scientific research!”

The release date has not yet been set. However, at the end of the trailer linked below, you can add your eMail address to be alerted when the movie is scheduled for release in theaters.

Next Week

Inside the Studio!

In next week’s edition, we will continue our video tour of the broadcast facilities with a visit inside the actual studio where Bob Christopher, Richard Peifer, and I “man the microphones” and receive phone calls for the daily broadcasts.

In the meantime, may you continue to experience the joy of salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ!
